The Asperger Shop is the name of the 501c3 non-profit organization, 

with our doing-business-as name of, The Center for Neuroperformance & Counseling or CNC. 

 

The CNC provides affordable services to the community and serves those experiencing anxiety, depression, and/or life changes with a special focus on neurodivergent individuals experiencing mental health issues. Neurodivergence includes those with autism and ADHD. The CNC strives to help individuals reduce barriers that keep them from fulfilling their educational, social, and vocational goals. In addition to counseling, biofeedback, and neurofeedback, we provide free community programs, sliding scale, and pro-bono services. We also provide Work Readiness training for those with mental health issues. 

 

For over 10 years the CNC has provided services to thousands in the community with compassionate care. 

 

Special programs provided free of charge are our 3rd Friday Meet-ups where tweens/teens/young adults on the autism spectrum can have a safe space to socialize, Cafe Chats for Moms, and Cafe Chats for Moms dealing with ASD. 

Past programs have included partnering with Denton County Friends of the Family to present Health Relationships to teens.  We have a lending library of books on topics related mostly to ASD.
