This is an important topic. As counselors we've worked with individuals with various disabilities that were abused, sexually assaulted, financially abused and sex trafficked because their disability made them more vulnerable to being manipulated. While the event focuses on individuals with ASD or ADHD or Anxiety or all the above, this can happen to anyone.

Announcing Money Mondays!
First Monday of every month Feb - April 2018
Do you know someone who is floundering in their finances? Earning or saving too little, spending too much? Not savvy in their dealings with creditors, banks, taxes, budgeting, etc. A new support group is starting in Flower Mound, on the first Monday of each month 6:30-7:45pm. Topics of discussion will be credit scores, side gigs, banking and money apps (there are so many!), inexpensive education options, taxes, ways to save, jobs, scams, and whatever else comes up. I will be the facilitator of the group, and I look forward to learning right along with everyone.
Space is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible. The first meeting is February 4 at 6:30pm at the Center for Neuroperformance and Counseling located at 3861 Long Prairie Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75028. This event is free but you must RSVP due to limited space.
